Dental Insurance

Our office is insurance friendly. We accept most major dental insurance plans.  If you would like, we will contact your insurance company so that they help us  understand your coverage. This will help you may make better, more informed treatment decisions.  We can, for example, find out your deductibles, the types of procedures covered, your yearly insurance maximum (how much will your insurance wiil pay per calender year) and  the approximate percentage you will have to pay for each type of  procedure.  If your plan is a PPO plan, and not a DMO or HMO plan, you probably can use it in our office.

Although we  proudly  participate in the Delta Premier Network,  this is the only insurance plan we officially associate with . We do our best to make it easy for those patients who have other insurance to utilize our services.  For treatment plans involving multiple procedures we can fill out pretreatment estimates, so you can know how much your out of pocket expenses will be.  If we have precertified your treatment plan we can accept assignment of benefits from most dental plans.

Many dental insurance plans provide for generous allowances for utilizing out of network dentists and if you have one of these plans, this may actually  be your best option. We often do accept assignment of benefits and bill out patients only for the difference between their insurance plan payments and our actual fees.

Cosmetic Dentistry Tip: After whitening, smiles remain bright for a long perioed of time. Gradually the brightness does tend to fade somewhat. Often teeth remain brighter than they were prior to bleaching for years. Most patients desire a bleaching touch up after 6 months to year. If a patient has whitening trays most touch ups can be accomplished easily in a day or two. Sometimes teeth become temporarily sensitive during the whitening process. If a patient stops whitening or takes a break this sensitivity goes away. Forty eight hours after they stop bleaching most patients report their teeth feel normal again. o:p>
